Support Yellowstone's Elk Calf Study
Elk that inhabit Yellowstone represent a crucial keystone species that influence ecosystem structure and function, sustain large carnivore and scavenger populations, and are of importance to human communities throughout the ecosystem. This project will conduct a multi-year elk calf survival study in northern Yellowstone to determine survival rates and causes of death.
